What a unbelievable great song !!
Alanis is one of the best female singers of all time !!!!!
Love her voice and she is also a great performer too !!!!!!
This song is my life. really sad actually, but i love that i can have a song that relates so completely to me and my situation. i love alanis, thank you!
I think it is about feeling vulnerable and feeling more susceptible to things, maybe coz of something you are thinking of, or that has happened. So it sort of changes your view of yourself, when you are not feeling as strong as you normally would, which is reflected in your perception of yourself, ie- not feeling as sexy, or interesting.
I think that anybody can interpret this song to anything going on in their life. Some people relate it with God, some with friends or relationships or boys, maybe even family. It all just depends what you’re going thorugh

i really dont think the song is for a woman.
I mean it sounds very human in general. Sure maybe change sexy to beautiful or hansome.
But Im sure you get the idea.

It’s really important to remember how amazing you are, no matter what crap you have to dig through to see it again.
