Red Sox left fielder Jacoby Ellsbury was removed from the field after colliding with Beltran Adrian Dominican third base in the ninth inning of Sunday's 8-6 Boston victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Ellsbury and Beltran were chasing Mitch Maier Foul ball high when they collided with reach other. Ellsbury remained on the grass for several minutes and is unsure whether he would play Monday at Minnesota.

Beltran beats hauling three hits and three runs. Dustin Pedroia received four hits including a homer.

Jose Guillen Bate towing two homers and four runs for the Royals.

In Chicago, JJ Hardy became the last out when he tried to get on the long trip up hitter Jim Thome as Chicago held off Minnesota.

Hardy connected with a simple two outs against Bobby Jenks and Thome off when he drove a shot into the void left in the garden and plant. The left fielder Juan Pierre regained the ball at the warning strip and pulled Mark Teahen at third base.

In Anaheim, California, Adam Rosales bat a homer in his first American League at bat, he added advantage of a simple and finished with four runs batted in Oakland beat the Los Angeles Angelino.

Rosales, a reserve player box with Cincinnati the last two seasons, a bat in the second inning solo home runs and ran out to the bases. His unit was only Oakland hit in the first six innings against Joe Saunders (0-2).

In Arlington, Texas, Scott Feldman threw seven innings with a solid bat and Michael Young home runs to help Texas beat Seattle.

Vladimir Guerrero finished with three hits for Texas, increasing his average to 500, and Joaquin Arias had his SECONset of three straight hits.

Feldman (1-0) allowed two runs and seven hits in his second season opening. Ian Snell (0-1) lasted only three entries, allowing five runs, four of them clean, and eight hits.

In Baltimore, the Dominican Jose Bautista and Alex Gonzalez connect consecutive homers in the eighth inning after an error by Miguel Tejada with two outs, as Toronto beat Baltimore for a three-game sweep.

Kevin Millwood (0-1) had three hits and a 2-1 advantage until the eighth inning. He retired the first two batters before Tejada _ a submarine career now playing third base _ a bad roletazo strong by John McDonald.

Bautista Gonzalez beats a square and then followed with his second home runs of the game.

Casey Janssen (3-0) won in relief and Kevin Gregg finished scanning the tiles for the first time in Baltimore from August 2004 to get three outs for his second rescue.
