Ray J came to the family with the idea of the show, Brandy and Ray J both agreed the family was the first they hesitated to accept. “The hardest thing was that every one wants to do this show and to open their lives to the world,” said Ray J.
“It was weird at first. But after the first two hours, I forgot they were there,” said Brandy. “This is good. You get real when you forget the cameras are there. You get these moments organic.”
Those moments include some organic beings tears that Brandy plaster to rising tensions in communication between her and the mother Sonja. And apparently a clash of egos between her and her brother, Brandy is calling soon-to-be quotable: “I Ray J!” Which she says she rarely hadtell his young relative.
“It's funny. I never have to tell you that,” she says. “But with us and become partners in business together, I'm starting to see a different side of Ray. It's not personal, it's business. This is what I was trying to tell me for a very long time. But our relationship has never been like, 'Look at my bank account. I'm Ray J. Brandy. We have never had this kind of rivalry in our relationship and want to start now.
“He tells me that business is business and we have to change hats. But it is a bit difficult for me to change hats because everything is so personal to me,” he continued. “Although the business is personal for me.”
But together with Brandy and Ray J, a family business “will also have a lot of laughter and moments agree that family people want to share. “I want people to see the show and go through the journey with us,” said Ray J. “It's a musical journey, a journey of family, is a business trip, but we are doing all elements that will be good timesand bad times. ”
